My lips have been extremely dry and chapped for the last week. they have often felt raw and dry when I wake up even if I put vasoline on at night. This morning they were swollen. I have been using the medicated chapstick and I thought it was working until this morning. is this is a symptom of a food allergy? Should I see a doctor?

This could also be a combination of cold, dry winter weather and lack of vitamins.

either its a reaction to the medicine or u may have a food allergy but if u had a food allergy your throat would swell upand have trouble breathing.so in that case see a doctor.if not sure stay away from seafood and nuts to be safe.and keep ur lips moist.
