Although known for her soul recordings and referred to as the the Queen of Soul, Franklin is adept at jazz, blues, R&B and gospel music. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Franklin no. 1 on its list of the Greatest Singers of all Time. Twitter and Facebook were abuzz Monday night with rumors and difficulty about either Aretha Franklin had died. But a Free Press source says Aretha Franklin is alive and lazy at home. Aretha Franklin is suffering from pancreatic cancer. even though Aretha Franklin has cancer, family and friends say that she is doing okay for the time being.
