I've been having mild prostatitis symptoms on & off for 3 years (frequent urinations, discomfort in the perineum or urethra , weak urine stream) but usually went away in a few weeks. the symptoms seemed to go away for almost a year and they come back. my doc put me on Cipro for 10 days for prostatitis and insist that they are not cancer symptoms since they've been on & off and my weak urine stream symptoms went even before I started the Cipro. my discomfort in the perineum or urethra when getting better sitting still not gone completely and the frequencies are still on and off depend on how much I drink or what I eat. I went to a urologist 2 years ago but he only found that one the right side of my prostate slightly larger and suggested some source of inflammation. Other doctors agreed with him too. my PSA was 2.2 a year ago and I am 39. do you have any experience like this? Please share with me. Thank you so much.

Itching, redness and dryness. I have Prostatitis and it acts up when it gets cold outside. Cortizone works. sorry for the butchered spelling:)
