I have no cold symptoms and have not had a cold in a very very long time. however, I have a numbness and painful sensation on the left side of the bridge of my nose and it is slightly swollen in appearance. I have gotten a headache three nights in a row, but it goes away in the daytime. Any clues?

I'd like to know the symptoms and appearance of it. Say its on your scalp and face. I did some research and I'm not satisfied. No one seems to talk about it being on your face. Just elbows and knees and such.

A new study on herpes found that your sexual partner may be free of symptoms such as genital lesions, but that doesn’t mean he or she is not carrying the sexually transmitted disease.

And yes, they can pass it on to you even if it doesn’t "look" like they have it, according to the study to be published in tomorrow’s Journal of the American Medical Association. about 16 percent of adults in the United States have the herpes simplex type 2 virus, but only 10 to 25 percent with herpes show symptoms, the study said.

Scientists found that viral shedding on the genital skin that can’t necessarily be seen could cause the disease to be passed on.

Many people are engaging in sexual activity not knowing they are  at risk of passing the virus on to their partners.

Herpes is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases in the world with an estimated 536 million people infected with it.

The researchers said condom use, drug therapy and disclosure of the disease to partners can help curb the spread of herpes.

But these methods have had limited impact because so many people don’t know they have herpes.

So get tested and make sure your partner does too.

The dog will probably need to stay at the veterinarian’s office for an overnight stay or two.  The vet will take care of your dog’s fluid and nutritional needs and make the dog comfortable by practicing pro-active pain management by use of medications.  your vet will also look over your dog to make sure that no other diseases are the cause for the pancreatitis.

Your dog’s pancreas will need to “rest”, which means that no food or water will be provided to your dog by the mouth for up to 5 days.  all nutritional needs and fluids are entering into your dog’s body via intravenous.  Most dogs will only need treatment for 1 or 2 days, though it depends on the severity of the problem.

Like symptoms other than the obvious ones like feeling down.

When does someone get the point where help from medication is needed. I know someone who is suffering from a form of depression but is worried that the antidepression tablets will have worse side effects. its hard to know if its severe depression or even depression at all.

Not doing things you used to do/becoming withdrawn and being bored

Doing the little things become harder
Anxiety
You feel guilty for being a burden and feel like a failure
You look at the negative most of the time and can't think clearly.

Unexplained physical pains, headaches, back pain etc.
Change in personal hygiene and appearance

The doctor can do blood tests to see if there are physical reasons why a person may be depressed, i.e a chemical imbalance in the brain. Depression does not neccessarily have to be treated with medication though. A psychologist can work through the feelings and work with the person to improve.

one type almost looks like a scab, brown or black in color and at times can itch and)or get flaky. another type looks the same as skin does, almost like a skin tag. Raised and firm kinda like a bug bite looks like. these can also get itchy but don't discolor or get flaky. Both of these types are of the safer variety and don't normally cause other issues. those are the only 2 that I have knowledge about. there are other types from what I understand also.

Not really in the early stages…as the cancer spreads you would be experience more harsh symptoms.

But often the moles will bleed, and there could be some pain the area.

I'm watching a program featuring Michael J. Fox, filmed this year, and I think he's the producer as well. It' about optimism. I am completely amazed and so glad to see his improved appearance. There is hardly any of the shakiness, uncontrolled movement, and difficulty speaking he's had for several years! I haven't seen him on TV for quite a while, but always thought Parkinson's was a condition that always gets progressively worse. his condition in this program almost seems to be reversed.

I really don't know but i watching a little bit of a program on tlc about him tonight and other then the shaking he looks good.
