I am doing a little research. I have found a considerable amount of overlap in symptoms that are typically diagnosed as depression, anxiety and bi-polar disorder. I have looked into Epstein-Bar Virus, PTSD, Anemia, ADHD, Thyroid, and Sleep Apnea. It is amazing how much the symptoms overlap. I'd like to know if there are other conditions that cause or mimic symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. I would be interested in doing further research.

i have had symptoms recently that are similar to Adult ADHD, but i was not diagnosed with any learning problems before the age of 7. I've always been disorganized, lazy, etc, but lately i've had trouble learning things in my college courses. its not that the courses are too challenging, its that i simply cannot concentrate on the work at all no matter how hard i try and how many study tips i use. is there a solution to my problem that can help save my grades?

Just because you weren't diagnosed, doesn't mean you aren't ADHD. Speak with your doctor, you could have ADHD, or another learning disorder. are you getting enough rest? it won't cure a learning disorder but it might help.

My bi-polar sister tells me that bi-polar disorder and ADHD are often mistaken for one another. Additionally, ADHD does not have to be diagnosed prior to the age of 7. At that age, it's difficult to tell the difference between attention deficit and youth. one more thing, your symptoms may simply be stress related. if you can back off a little, drop a class or work less, you may find that you can cope more easily.
