Canine parvovirus is the most common infectious disease of dogs in the United States. WellPet Humane, a nonprofit animal charity clinic in Chamblee, has opened a Parvo Treatment Center dedicated to combating this deadly disease.

WellPet now offers parvo treatment to dog owners who are financially struggling at a nominal cost. Canine parvovirus is highly contagious, can live in the environment for years and can cause life-threatening disease to dogs, especially puppies. it can be especially severe in puppies that are not protected by maternal antibodies or a simple vaccination series.

Bloody diarrhea is the most common symptom, but since you don't have this, it's probably something else. Check with your doctor!

Occasional Bloody diarrhea, then loose stools with blood, sometimes no blood in the stool, stomach cramps, urge to empty but still get cramps and have to go again? (someone who is only in their late 30's). No other symptoms (not tired, not weak, not nauseous). I am lactose intolerant and sometimes I would have dairy products anyway, this last time I ended up getting lots of bloody diarrhea (sorry gross).
