I've had a few people tell me that my mom might have gallstones instead of acid reflux. She's 45 years old and her symptoms are very bad stomach pain, back pain, feeling very hot for a while and then cold, sometimes even vomiting. how do i know what it is? It sounds more like she has a gallbladder problem than reflux. Avoid all spicy food, fried food, rich foods, mayo, salad dressing. keep the diet lean and simple and see if it makes a difference.

When I had my one and only attack, it built up like gas and was with me for several hours. and some people have vomiting and nausea. I never had the vomiting, but was nauseous for several days. if it is her gall bladder, it can be removed in a pretty simple outpatient surgery. she might want to cut out foods with a lot of fat in it for awhile too. About 80 to 90 cases of thyroid cancer cases are related to this papillary and follicular thyroid cancer.

• Medullary thyroid cancer: this cancer is easy to control because it grows slowly. this cancer occurs in the C cells and not in follicular cells. About 5 to 10 percent cancer cases are related to medullary thyroid cancer.

• Anaplastic thyroid cancer: this cancer is very rare one, only 1 to 2 percent of cancer cases are related to anaplastic thyroid cancer. this cancer occurs in follicular cells .this cancer is not easy to control and identify because  this cancer cells grow rapidly and quickly.

Causes of thyroid cancer: till now no one knows the exact reason for the causes of this cancer, but the risk factors for this thyroid cancer are identified.

Risk factors for thyroid cancer:

• Smoking: Smoking increases the risk factor for causing lung cancer and thyroid cancer. Due to intake of nicotine content for longer time there will chances in the failure of working system of stem cells. so, please avoid smoking to reduce the risk factors.

• Radiation: Due to excess radiations to the body, the risk factors for leukemia increases. Radiations like diagnose X-rays or UV rays increase the risk factors.

• Family history of thyroid cancer: Family history of cancer also plays a key role in increasing the risk factors. so go for regular screening to diagnose the disease.

• Age: people with above 40 years of age are more likely to face this risk factor for thyroid cancer.

well the obvious one would be deformities but others are decrease activity, a dislike to handling, paralysis. but these dont always occur, if its not showing signs and u have the correct 10-12% UVB lighting and dusting feeders with calcium its probably ok

My doctor diagnosed me with prostatitis and I forgot to ask him how long the symptoms would last. he gave me Cipro 500mg and I have been on it since Tuesday 2/16. Bone loss drugs in the class of bisphosphonates have, again, been linked to bone fractures of the femur (thigh bone). Web MD said that a recent, large review of over 200,000 post-menopausal women found that those taking bisphosphonates—drugs sold under the names Fosamax, Fosamax Plus D, Actonel, Actonel with Calcium, Boniva, Atelvia, and Reclast, as well as generics—for over five years experienced a two-fold likelihood of suffering fractures, versus women taking these drugs for briefer periods.

Fractures occurred in about one of every 1,000 women who took bisphosphonates for five years or more, one of the researchers told WebMD. The study appears in the February 23rd issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.According to recent studies, about half of all women over the age of 50 will suffer a bone loss-related fracture, and about one in every five of these women will die within a year, noted WebMD, noting that bisphosphonates are taking by millions of patients in the U.S. In addition to their use in preventing osteoporosis fractures, bisphosphonates also help to reduce hip, spine, and other fractures related to weakened bones.

Despite this, reports began emerging in recent years about long-term bisphosphonate use and femur fractures, prompting the FDA to mandate a label change on the medication to include a warning of “possible risk of atypical thigh bone fracture” in long-term users, said WebMD. “While it is not clear whether bisphosphonates are the cause, atypical femur fractures … have been predominantly reported in patients taking bisphosphonates,” FDA officials noted in a news release issued at the time, quoted WebMD. According to the FDA warning, the severe musculoskeletal pain associated with bisphosphonates may occur within days, months, or years after starting treatment. some patients have reported complete relief of symptoms after discontinuing the bisphosphonate; others have reported slow or incomplete resolution.

I'm 43 years old and seem to be starting into perimenopause. Tonight I have tingling in my cheeks and a hot feeling, although I'm not hot to touch. I don't know if it's symptoms of perimenopause or to do with my thyroid. The thyroid is gone and today they said my thyroid is low so they are increasing the dose. Hot flashes, body aches, depression, anxiety, insomnia, irritability, foggy brain, tired, stressed and angery! Been there ~ was having premenopause since early thirties and then they done a complete histo on me. Doctor put me on Zoloft and that didn't help. Then I went to a specialist and he tested my thyroid….needless to say the thyroid was off and I was being over dosed on estrogen ~ yep you heard me right they were overdosing me on estrogen that was the reasons for the mood swings and the crying and plain out meanness

I would bet it is your thyroid. you will know if you ever get a hot flash…it lasts for only several minutes but can come several in an hour…everybody is different. The tiredness isn't usually a sign of perimenopause…but a symptom of hypothyroidism.
