I think you are allergic to corn.
I absolutely hate corn and never eat it. But when I would eat chicken, I would start feeling sleepy and just not right. I stopped eating chicken and it stopped, but as soon as I started eating it again it came back.
I had the food allergy tests done and it revealed that I was allergic to corn not chicken. most chickens are corn fed and the corn is absorbed into the chickens body.

Yes, probably. my hubby of 45 years gets weak and sick when he eats pancake syrup . It took a couple of years to figure out what this was. He loves corn and tolerates it well. I believe it is the fungus that grows on corn that causes his problem. It would be passed along when corn syrup is made.
Yours is probably different and the allergy is to the corn itself.
