He attributed the situation to multiple causes owing to the type of lifestyle people are living. “with the changing lifestyles, we have seen more people turning to spicy foods. this, coupled with other factors such as stress, alcohol consumption and smoking, has seen more people suffer from illnesses relating to the digestive system and particularly reflux disorder.”

Lule cautioned that although the main symptoms are heartburn and indigestion, there are other problems that manifest and conceal the diseases.

The health expert says due to the recurrent episodes of discomfort in the stomach, the sufferers have limited productivity at work or in schools.

Men who had been circumcised before their first sexual intercourse were 15 percent less likely to develop prostate cancer than those who were not circumcised. 

“From these results, we estimate that circumcision may prevent about 10 percent of all prostate cancer cases in the general population,” said Janet L. Stanford, a co-author of the study and research professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. 

Men who were circumcised after their first intercourse, however, did not benefit from the reduced risk.

In addition, men circumcised prior to having their first sexual encounter had an 18 percent reduced risk for developing a more aggressive form of prostate cancer.

Infections are estimated to be the cause of 17 percent of cancers worldwide. other cancers that have been linked to infections include cervical, stomach and liver cancers. In fact, one study found that circumcised men are less likely to infect their female partners with the human papillomavirus, or HPV, which is linked to cervical cancer.

QUESTION: AFTER BEING EXPOSED TO AN STD, WHEN WILL A MALE PRODUCE SYMPTOMS?Is 3-4 months too long for a guy to just now start showing symtpoms of an STD like gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, chlamydia, etc. if he contracted it months ago? Like if he started getting discharge would that be because of an STD he caught months ago? cause I heard guys show symptoms very fast. Please no answers like it can take months because after being infected you’ll start to have symptoms, i know from experience.
