I'm having alot of pain right below my right chest, and above the rib cage, I know this is where your liver is, and also your gull bladder. I am diagnosed with having steotosis and fibrosis of the liver, but I think it is the gull bladder that is hurting. I vommit alot and have sharp pains in this area. The doctors can't find anything but a fatty inflamed liver. could it be my gull bladder?

WELL, I HAVE GALLSTONES. WHEN I GET AN "ATTACK" IT HURTS REALLY BAD. THEY SAY THE PAIN OF a GALLBLADDER ATTACK IS EQUAL TO THE PAIN OF a HEART ATTCK, EXCEPT YOUR HEART DOESN'T STOP. MINE HURTS SO BAD DURING AN ATTACK THAT IT USUALLY LASTS FOR 2 DAYS AND THEN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER, IT'S SORE.

Your gull bladder is located under your left wing.

Sounds to me you have a bile duct obstruction. It is when the bile from the gall bladder creates a (stone like) and blocks the way to the liver. Liver ususally) does not cause pain but gallbladder does. See a GI Dr I am sure he will get an ultrasound ASAP because simple galllbladder problems are easy to fix THey just take out the gallbladder. If you can't get to a Dr GO to the ER you seriously need this cheked. I was hospitalized earlier this summer for gallbladder problems

Acute cholecystitis is inflammation of the gallbladder that develops over hours, usually as a result of cystic duct obstruction by a gallstone. Symptoms include right upper quadrant pain and tenderness, sometimes accompanied by fever, chills, nausea, and vomiting. Abdominal ultrasound detects the gallstone and sometimes the associated inflammation.
Gallbladder cancer symptoms do not occur right away. Symptoms usually occur when cancer gets into the advanced stage. This condition is not very common. nevertheless, people with gallbladder problems should be familiar with this disease.

Patients with gallbladder issues should control their condition regularly just to make sure that everything is all right. those who are on gallbladder treatment should follow the doctor’s instructions in order to cure gallbladder disease as soon as possible and reduce the chances for further complications.

Symptoms of gallbladder cancer come quite late and include weakness, appetite loss (and weight loss as a result); upper abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Gallbladder can also become enlarged. These symptoms can be accompanied by fever, bloating and general discomfort. Treatment for gallbladder cancer is surgery. Removing entire organ is the most efficient treatment for this illness. However, healing is possible only in cases when gallbladder cancer is diagnosed in time. considering the fact that the symptoms occur very late (sometimes too late), cancer can get into its advanced stage which makes it hard or quite impossible to treat. Gallbladder can be removed, but it is no guarantee that the condition will actually heal and that the patient will live. in some cases, death can occur even though the gallbladder has been removed.

There are other conditions with symptoms similar to those of gallbladder cancer. that is why you should not get frightened right away but visit your doctor and see what the problem really is. if you already know that you have problems with gallbladder, you should take care of your health, diet and lifestyle and to go to frequent checks. Do not wait for the symptoms to occur but control your condition regularly. your doctor will answer all your questions and give you advice how to deal with gallbladder problems.

That is pretty self explanitory I think. if someone is having gall bladder trouble or a gall bladder attack would they feel worse after eating? and what other symptoms would occur?

You would mostly hurt after eating. Certain food will aggravate the condition. if left untreated it will eventually hurt all the time. if you have pain on the right side of your body, close to the bottom of your ribs and / or as far over as your stomach.for me it felt like dull hard ache with some burning sensation. I developed gall stones and they eventually ended up plugging my bile ducts. This made my skin and eyes turn yellow, and poisoned my system. if you think you have gallbladder problems, get to a doctor right away. Your doctor can do an ultrasound or x-rays to check for stones.
