The dog is 12 weeks old (has all it's shots) and is lethargic, vomitting and has diarrhea.
I believe he was exposed to an area were the virus was a few weeks ago, but he wasn't exposed to a dog with parvo. He was first exposed to the area on Thursday (6 days ago).

Is this DEFINATLEY parvo, or are there other options?

you should definetely check up with your vet. I had a 3 month old rot that died 2 days ago of parvo. monday it just started to where it wouldn't come to us when we called it or play, or eat, or drink. we took it to the doctor and he told us it had tape-worms and that it could be easily fixed. the next morning he called me and said that "piggy" the rot had parvo. It's not the disease that cuases them to die or act the way it does, its just dehydration and starvation. I would seriously go and get it checked out. I wish I would've before piggy died.

It does sound like Parvo, but Corona has the very same symptoms. It could also be Cocci, or Giardia.or Salmonella…only a poop smear at the vet's can diagnose for certain..

It sounds like Parvo, but it could also have a severe worm infestation, bacterial infestation (like giardia or coccidia), or HGE (hemorrhageic gastroentritis)… all of these will KILL your pup if they are not treated.

You need to get your dog to the vet TODAY and have it properly diagnosed. Remember to take a sample of its "poop" with you for testing.

does his or her diarrhea have blood in it? are you sure its not been poised?

please dont let your dog suffer with this, he needs to go to the vet today, sometimes if they catch it early on they can save them. it does sound like parvo, but it could be distemper, hook worms, and there are several other diseases that are curable if caught early. so please take him to the vet

Your puppy has not completed the vaccination schedule. It's highly likely that since he was in an area where Parvo was that he's contracted this deadly virus. You need to take him to the vet IMMEDIATELY.

Get the dog tested asap!!!!! if it has parvo everything you own needs to be disinfected. There are treatments for parvo but they are expensive and not guaranteed

You're little pup could be getting over excited, when my moms pup gets excited he has asthma attacks until he calms down. But if the asthma proceeds it can lead to a small seizure. either way the vet will tell u what meds to get or how to calm ur puppy down. her pup is a chihuaha too. so they do tend to get wired from time to time.

My beagle/dachshund mix has epilepsy. Before she has a seizure her nose runs (drops hang off the end of it), she pants, and she has a funny far off look in her eyes. When she has a seizure she drools a lot and shakes. She can't walk, so we just pet her until it's over. Well there are different types. Mild ones where they get shaky and jerky then go around in circles after words they seem disoriented. then there whats called "Grand Mall" where they lay on their sides feet kinda thrashing like they are running and mouth clenching sometimes losing consciences, losing their functions urinating and pooping then slowly come out of it acting disoriented and spacey until they are back to normal. Its hard to find reasons why some all of a sudden start , blood work looks perfect and have had no head trauma. Some animals may have just one or don't have them very often. It is said one never dies from seizing unless they fall from a high place. usually a Vet will advise you to wait and see how frequent they have them and explain that the medications to prevent them (Phenobarbital or Valium) can make them tired all the time and they seem dopey and not active or no personality and if they only have them every once in a great while you may just decide to ride them out and not put on drugs as long as they don't get more and more frequent..On some occasions they can determine if its related to a certain problem like low glucose or a lactating female can get calcium deficiency and once treated they stop..

They can have different symptoms. Shaking badly, unresponsive, seeming to stare off into space, sometimes just going stiff where you think they are dead. I had a Chihuahua with hydrocephalus and she had seizures. She died a year ago today. She was 4 years old. Your dog may be hypoglycemic(low blood sugar). Give her some nutrical if you have it, if not, give her some karo syrup or honey to help bring her sugar back up. Hope she will be okay.

eyes roll back, convulsions, drop in tracks to sleep, just take to vet to ck because there could be more to it then just what symptoms then which ones that you have not given, to compare for anybody to give an honest answer, but these are just some of the ones I have had happen to mine and that was just some of what the vet explained to me and these are the extreme.

I think she needs to go to the vet, but I doubt it is diabetes. it sounds more like she is in pain. When dogs are in pain they shake and whine and sometimes they pant.
Diabetes in dogs is actually not very common, more commonly it is seen in cats. Depending on the breed of dog you have I would be worried about back or neck pain, pancreatitis ( caused by eating rich or fatty foods) or any other GI pain.
She needs to be seen as soon as you can get her in.

I have spring and summer allergies and they are in full force. When a girl thinks she is pregnant, her brain tricks her body into thinking that also.
So that's probably all it is, but if she misses her period, then start worrying.
But, it might be a little late, because she is thinking she is pregnant, so wait for a week after her period starts, and then get her a test.

Just from your three symptoms said in your post, I would say that you could be in the early stages of pregnancy. that or you could be over tired/overworked, although that dosent explain the need to pee.
