It is most commonly spotted around 18 months to 2 years when they should be starting to talk. in some cases, when the symptoms are fairly mild like in Asperger's, it can take longer because speech may not be delayed and the child may seem in most ways to be developing typically.

They typically say by the age of three when they would really be interacting with others with purpose. but if your child has a speech delay at about 1 or 2 autism might be the reason.

wonder.myartsonline.com
you can get much information in this website, kindly stay a minute in website and check anyone link at a time, and you can aslo get your question answer in Google Search in this website, which has already helped me very much.

Depends on what kind….
Sometimes as early as toddlers because they don't play correctly. some kids are unable to social interact. Sometimes in Kindergarten when they start school and they are not learning at the correct speed. my nephew was 12 months and they new something was wrong with him but they were sure if he was retarded or it was autism.
But Asperger's Syndrome sometimes isn't detected until high school!

They dont start to talk.
They dont interct, (smile, show emotion) (excluding crying, thats totally normal)
Anything that is out of the ordinary, go see your docter, then if your docter iis concerned he/she can provide you with a perscription with an autistic specialist.

I would say even as early as 13 months, my son was diagnosed at the age of 4, but there were signs from that age (13 MTHS) that there could be a problem, his speech didn't develop at all, very bad tantrums, lining things up all day and not really playing or doing anything else exept that, also doing things repeatidly, oh and his speech didn't develop however he would say 'washing machine' all the time in answer to every question.

It really depends on the type, some people have regressive autism, which means that they develop typically until the age of 15 to 24 months and then lose skills. some people have had unusual characteristics since birth, and the University of California has developed a survey for detecting autism as early as four months old.

Aspergers is a type of autism, that often is not discovered until grade school, because the primary distinction is that there are NOT early delays.

But with typical autism, the average age of diagnosis is around three or four. often parents detect troubling characteristics before the age of two, however, and it takes some time to go through the medical channels for a proper diagnosis.

HTH.

Usually the symptoms can be spotted out from a doctor from a very young age. unfortunately I do not know the exact age.

My friend has been very sad lately and I think she might have depression , bbut dont know what the symptoms are.

There are a lot of different symptoms. they can be polar opposites for example;
some people quit eating, or eat very little other people eat a lot.
some people get really quiet, quit going out, and avoid human contact; other people party it up!

I would just talk to her. Ask her how she is, tell her you've noticed a difference in her, and you're concerned, and if she needs a friend you'll be there!

Another thing to do is it to google mild depression. Read a little bit about it! So you'll have a better understanding!

Good Luck!

wanting to be alone, and to not hangout
eating very little or ALOT
looking sad (sometimes)
tired or sleepy
easly irritated, cranky

these are just some, but some people can be depressed and not even show any of these symptoms. it really depends on the person

not wanting to do anything, sleeping alot, feeling alone, shyness, um not eating and more but those are some of them

lack of sleep, lack of energy, general bad mood.

I don't think you have CF. there are many forms of CF tho. my brother's symptoms included salty skin (no liquid to sweat, just salt crystals), fatty bowel movements (as in ..completely liquid, orange in color and EVERY time…), extreme excessive mucous, nasal polyps, difficulty gaining and retaining weight, loss of appetite, or the complete opposite, extreme appetite with little results from eating non stop, difficulty breathing, etc.
Oh…and it is not an illness that is just for children, most of the time kids are diagnosed (now days) by their first birthday, but there are still a few mild cases that go un noticed until teen or adult hood. It is also a life long illness, it is a terminal illness. there is no cure, and it's not like the chicken pocks where you get it once and then you're fine…It involves a lifetime of medications, doctor visits, tests, pokes, and more meds!

Cystic Fibrosis is something your born with not something you develop later in life.

I looked up some syptoms for you. the following are the most common symptoms for cystic fibrosis. However, each child may experience symptoms differently. Symptoms may include:

abnormalities in the glands that produce sweat and mucus
This may cause a loss of salt. a loss of salt may cause an upset in the balance of minerals in the blood, abnormal heart rhythms, and, possibly, shock.

thick mucus that accumulates in the lungs and intestines
This may cause malnutrition, poor growth, frequent respiratory infections, breathing difficulties, and/or lung disease.

Don't worry, just go to your doctor. (BTW normally this is a disease for kids)

I was in the hospital for 4 days. I have taken all my meds. I still have a dull pain in my abdomen and my appetite has not returned to normal. My gallbladder was normal on ultrasound. I am sticking to the diet the dr gave me.
I wonder if anyone else has had these same problems and how long it took you to feel "normal" again.

Please only answer if you have either personal experience with pancreatitis or you are a medical professional. if you have to google "pancreatitis" please don't answer

The duration is quite variable and depends on the cause. a stone in the pancreatic duct can be nasty. Check your family history. There is an occasional familial occurrence. I had one family where father and daughter had mild cases occurring only once, but the son had recurrent severe bouts, eventually requiring pancreatectomy.

The only other cases I had as a pediatrician were older teen agers who drank a lot of beer. if my memory serves me, they also had familial elevated triglycerides. the triglycerides came down, but were still elevated when the drinking stopped. They are now adults and I have lost contact, but I think they are on statins.
