a week ago i started having itching down there i am a girl by the way and not inside but on the outside and there were bumps and now its still a little itchy at times and it stings but less bumps and less redness. but i havn't had sex in about a month or more. Is this an std?

it might be herpes and it might not be herpes.
herpes starts off with flu like systpoms.
if you think you have a STD please go to the dr.
if you have no insurance and or do not want your parents
to know please go to planned parenthood and ask them to preform
a STD test. they will test you and it is free and or very very low cost.
they will not contact parents. the results will only be released to you and only you and they will give you the meds you need to help cure the STD if you have one.
the bumps could just be a reaction to something or a heat rash etc
many things could happen.
