hey guys i'm 90% sure i hav prostatitis. have all the symptoms and my doctor ordered a urine test which came back negative for any bacteria.

so i've been reading on the internet about non-bacterial prostatitis and im really really scared… apparantly there is no cure, no one knows what causes it and it can last for years

is that true? i'm only 18 by the way…

I would really appreciate your help in this.. please.. please help because im really scared that i will choke on my tongue at night or something.

A few days ago, I started getting this weird feeling in my throat, like weakness/stiffness in the jaw, and neck area. And when i try to swallow my saliva at that point, my throat feels like all my muscles are contracted and i cant swallow nor breathe. Please do this.. put your thumb under your chin, and press hard, now try to swallow, it's hard, right? thats how i feel, but lower in the throat, its like a weakness, and then it gets numb or something.. and then i feel like i cant breathe, but then it goes away.
It started a few days ago, and now its happening more frequently, like every 5 minutes, and i try not to pay attention, but when i think that its going to happen, it happens right away.
I dont know what to think,
i thought it was a panic attack, but now i dont know… cuz it's not, i looked at the symptoms.

Have you suffered panic attacks before, it could be a nervous condition, a bit like a tic, you should really tell your doctor so you can rule out anything physical.
