Hello everyone, I had unprotected sex on May 12th, well lately I have been experiencing a white cloudy thin discharge.. sometimes it doesnt smell & sometimes it smells fishy… I have muscle aches from time to time, but their not a horrible pain, just a small ach in my leg joint or my arm…. I have back pain… but I am overweight & I've had a baby. and I have a common cold? do I have herpes?

Yes, I have strep, it feels horrible, pain when I swallow, fever (which is going down I think), muscle pains, headaches, and a hoarse voice. I was not able to get a same day appointment with my doctor, and I really want some fast relief from the symptoms, not a cure (Im pretty sure I need antibiotics for that) but some relief. Im drinking a lot of liquids and taking tylenol but its not doing much for the pain, anybody know any kind of method I could use to feel better? because I really feel like crap…

Take something for the pain and fever,maybe a sore throat spray, or throat drops
keep up on your vitamins and drink water or liquids.

gargle with listerine or warm salt water

How do you know it's strep is a culture has not been taken? Gargle several times a day with hot salt water, rest, drink chicken broth and try Advil until you can see the doctor. Strep is a serious condition.

when ever i have a problem with my t hroat i drink hot tea with sugar of course (personal taste) and make ur throat so muuuuucchccccchhhhh better, hope you do

I have had that HORRIBLE disease many times (1 yr…every month for 5 months in a row). I found that (in addition to the above remedies) just getting lots of sleep. may not do much for the pain, but do it also AFTER you get on the meds…it will prevent the above recurring problem that I had. So off to bed with ya (NOT on the computer!).

swallow ice covered in salt, because the salt sticks to the ice. kinda let it melt in the back of your throat, and while you do that, gargle satly water.

Easy you have a HOT cup of tea. let it sooth your throat. Make sure you stay away from cold or hard things that will hurt your throat trust me been there done that!!!

Gargle warm, salt water. Tylenol Sore Throat (I believe it has 1,000 mg of acetimenophen). Cough drops or throat lozenges or just some hard candy. all this really worked for me. Hope you feel better soon.

very salty, very hot water gargle over and over every hour or so. plus gargle with listerine and don't spit it out let it kind of slide down your throat. i don't share this secret very often but i felt generous today. it sunday afternoon and sunny. lol
