At what age we can find. is it curable If curable what are the steps we can take for those child. in US where I can find the doctors or hospitals.

I don't think it is curable but many can improve with proper therapies.

The three distinctive symptoms/characteristics of Autism are 1) Difficulty communicating verbally and non-verbally, 2) Impaired social interaction, and 3) repetetive behaviors (rocking, hand-flapping) and limited activities/interested

Symptoms can appear at infancy, particularly lack of eye contact and the inability to be soothed by a parent. other kids have "normal" development until 2 or 3 and then suddenly regress. the sooner the child is diagnosed correctly the better! Behavior Therapy (early and intensive) typically has the best treatment results… children with autism need to learn social and language skills from someone who specializes in teaching people with autism, since they learn very differently than others.

There are other disorders that fall under the "Autism Spectrum" as well.

EDIT: Kids with autism vary a lot as far as how successful they are in school. They definitely face unique challenges in that setting. what symptoms does the child you are talking about have? there are many places in the U.S. that employ Behavior/Autism Therapists…where are you located? You have to be really careful of Applied Behavior Analysis though. some of the practioners take it upon themselves to resort to aversives like electric shock.

There is currently no cure for Autism. there are treatments, though, and early detection is key. make sure you see a neurologist or a developmental pediatrician because a regular pediatrician cannot make the diagnosis on their own. as a parent of two children on the Autism spectrum, I have experience with both high and low functioning autism. Autism can be diagnosed as early as age 6 months but usually not until the child is around three can the see enough symptoms.
