Common causes include anal fissures, hemorrhoids, cancers and polyps &#111;&#102; the rectum and colon, diverticulosis, abnormal blood vessels (angiodysplasia), ulcerative colitis, ulcerative proctitis, Crohn&#8217;s colitis, infectious colitis, ischemic colitis, and Meckel&#8217;s diverticula. </p>
