Crohn's Disease runs in my family, and I have many of the symptoms and issues of it. I've talked to my doctor but we've decided that it was best to work on some other medical issues before we could start on my stomach. I am on the Depo shot and I was wondering if it increased symptoms and problems of this disease?

Can't seem to find any literature on the subject. My gut reaction (if you'll excuse the pun) is that it would be a slight help rather than a hindrance. Preventing the usual ovulation cycle would also prevent the associated histamine release and the subsequent inflammatory response in surrounding tissues.
