The Weston Senior Center is hosting Live well, a free six-week workshop to be held at the Weston Public Library on Mondays March 21 through April 25 from 12:30 to 3.

Live well is designed for adults age 60 and older who want to take charge of their ongoing health problems and get relief from their pain, fatigue, and other symptoms.

Live well helps those who suffer with diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, asthma, cancer, depression, anxiety, or any chronic condition.

The Live well workshops are sponsored by the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging, United way of Coastal Fairfield County, the Department of Public Health, and the Department of Social Services, Aging Services Division, through a grant from the Administration on Aging.

i think i might have one but im not sure… i have strong urges to pee but barely anythin comes out. if it is what do i do?

yes thatts one of the symptoms. and often it burns or is uncomfortable to go to the bathroom. just go to your doctor and they will give you a pill that makes your pee turn orange but it makes it easier to go. it also helps with the burning.
also drink alot of cranberry juice. the acid in the juice flushes out your system so good. that helps alot when i get a UTI.

nothing to do with back pains or fevors thats all rubbish. its only in your lower body part but most of the pain is in your bladder. any sudden movement can give you a crazy hard core pain it can feel like boiling hot water moving around.
HOW TO AVOID BLADDER INFECTION::

only last 7 days or 2 weeks. (or more it depends how loooong you held it in…)

yeah its when you have to pee ALL THE FREAKING TIME. if you just go pee, and then sit there for like 2 minutes, and then you can pee some more.. well you have one.

but its not that bad, i went to the doctor and they made me pee in a cup.

next thing i know i was taking medicine for like a week

but thats really all you have to do.

some symptoms would be the urge to go all of the time, burning while urinating, lower back pain, etc.
you just need to go to the doctor and avoid caffeine, drink plenty of water

You feel like you have to pee a lot, but there's not much. It hurts in your belly when you do try to go.

problems with going to the restroom and high fever and you don't feel good at all

I'm not even sure if i am suffering from the negative symptoms or if this is just how i am now. I used to be a very social and out going person that was pretty much up for anything. now i sit at home pretty much all day.

it works for some people. give it a try.

Someone in my family died of colon cancer and I have a sensitive stomach so my mom was really into this stuff >o<
As far as colon cancer, constipation and stomach pain are biggies. they aren't necessarily signs you have colon cancer, but signs that you might be more prone to it. as angrydoc stated (he sounds really smart and legit so I'd take his word), up your fiber intake so you don't have constipation and if something causes stomach pain, don't eat it. Fruits, veges and grains are great >o< If you don't have peanut allergies, I recommend Wholeweat bread with organic all-natural peanut butter on top as a nice snack >o<

Sorry I can't answer for the stomach cancer or the survival rate. ^__^

I'm using a prescription allergy pill but don't tolerate decongestants well. I'm also using prescription strength eye drops. I'm irritable, tired etc. is it possible that this is affecting my stomach as well?

The only thing that really worked for me was a prescription steroidal nasal inhaler. Beconase AQ and Nasonex work well. Unfortunately, an inhaler will not help your eyes.

my doctor gave me some strong prescription pills (i forgot what they where called >_<)
and yes it can make your nauseous because mucus runs down from your throat into your stomach (gross but true). why cant you take decongestants?

I don't get them no more: I started to take seaweed and phytoplankton supplements and about 2 months into it my allergies went away…and that includes and eczema as well…..

Try ricola with echinacea me did and it helps when you have congestion. Quack!

I have a history of cancer in my family and one of the things I'm most worried about is Cervical Cancer. What exactly are the symptoms?

Not all cancers are hereditary.
Cervical cancer is NOT. it is caused, in most cases by the HPV, the only way to make an early diagnose (no symptoms yet), when it can still be cured is with the pap smear.
When it starts to show sypmtoms, it's too late to cure it. Symptoms include post coital bleeding, pelvic pain even renal disfunction.

I've known a few girls who got this.
1. PAIN PAIN PAIN
2. weird discharge
3. bleeding when you aren't on your period
If you think you have this you need to go to your gyno ASAP! This is serious stuff

The early symptoms of cancer of the cervix are an irregular and unatural discharge, which may be blood-tinged, or the appearance of blood after the cessation of the montly periods at the time of the change of life.

Weather these symptoms are present or not, i suggest you go to a doctor and get a cerival scan and cervical cancer vaccination.
