I have looked but can no longer find anything about after-stroke symptoms. and can't find much on parkinson's symptoms. can anyone tell me if there are any similarities like tremors, or can help me find a place on the web that might tell me?

Try the NINDS website. you may also want to do a search on Binswanger's disease, which has a vascular etiology but can have some features of Parkinson's disease. there may be many other possible causes, but this may be a good start for you. Best of luck!
