i dont wanna get into too much personal stuff but i have a friend who never used to have symptoms of the disease but recently i noticed alot of head twitching and other symptoms of Parkinson's…i just wanted to kno if its possible and if i should worry?

Your friend might have Tourette's Syndrome.

There is a juvenile form of the disease that is being investigated for cause, and is thought to be genetic. it is referred to as Idiopathic Parkinson's Disease. here is an article on it which presents a case study. the subject is a 13 1/2 year old girl…………………

A 13-month-old girl was diagnosed with bird flu virus in the capital yesterday.

The minor girl of the city’s Kamalapur area was taken to the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) with fever where doctors found ?mild symptoms? of the virus in her body, said IEDCR Director Mahmudur Rahman.

This is the second case of human infection of bird flu, also known as avian influenza (H5N1), in the country.

The first human infection was detected on may 22, 2008. Also in the capital, it was a 15-month-old boy who fully recovered after treatment at the IEDCR.

The girl, however, is not having any serious breathing problem, which is normally the case.

The symptom is so mild that it has been detected because of the extensive surveillance, Mahmudur said, adding that proper treatment of the girl has been ensured.

“She is fine now and will recover soon.”

The IEDCR director advised to take precautionary measures, as the virus affected the poultry firms in the country in the last several months.

PANAMA CITY — A 26-year-old man with a history of mental illness pleaded no contest to felony battery charges after he was arrested in January for having sex with a 16-year-old girl.

Dewey Davis, of Panama City, was sentenced to five years in prison after Judge Dedee Costello accepted his plea during a hearing Wednesday. He was originally charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

In April, Davis was committed to the state hospital in Chattahoochee, where he was successfully treated until his release in August. He reported being on medications during a hearing Wednesday.

A state psychologist recommended Davis’ involuntary commitment after Davis displayed “disorganized and delusional thought processes” during an interview. Davis displayed symptoms of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder.

Davis was on probation after a 2008 incident in which he stabbed a Panama City man in the head while stealing his vehicle, according to an arrest affidavit. He has several prior convictions for trespassing, one for resisting an officer, and one for domestic violence.
