Some std's like chlamydia and gonorrhea have similar symptoms or asymptomatic the only way to know for sure is to get tested for STD's this can be done at your doctors office, planned parenthood (on their website they have more information too) and your local county health department may have free or reduced cost std testing centers…Just please get tested and see a doctor if you are having any issue…(if you have it you will need treatment)

It depends on the location of the infection (anal, vaginal, penile, oral, ocular/eye). And in fact, MOST people have NO SYMPTOMS or symptoms not recognized to be due to gonorrhea. so, the only way to know for sure is to get tested!!! so, please get tested……..untreated gonorrhea can cause major problems for both men and women!

a week ago i started having itching down there i am a girl by the way and not inside but on the outside and there were bumps and now its still a little itchy at times and it stings but less bumps and less redness. but i havn't had sex in about a month or more. Is this an std?

it might be herpes and it might not be herpes.
herpes starts off with flu like systpoms.
if you think you have a STD please go to the dr.
if you have no insurance and or do not want your parents
to know please go to planned parenthood and ask them to preform
a STD test. they will test you and it is free and or very very low cost.
they will not contact parents. the results will only be released to you and only you and they will give you the meds you need to help cure the STD if you have one.
the bumps could just be a reaction to something or a heat rash etc
many things could happen.

listen i know you might not like this answer but i saw that you also asked about the pull out method.

it seems you are way to under educated to be doing these things and you are getting yourself into dangerous terrritory.

there are all kinds of STD info all over the web, go to planned parenthood and at least talk to them or a nearby clinic, they have better info then you will get online, but again you dont seem near ready enough for these things.

just use a condom and you"ll be good don't worry about all that unless you are certain you have an std. but if you do have an std you will notice a burning sensation when you urinate that's for all std's. Hope this helps and use PROTECTION!!!!

I have researched all over and can't figure out which blood test is the most accurate and how soon it should be performed after exposure….what is the cost of herpes testing? Where can you get it done? all the clinics I can find don't do blood tests…planned Parenthood only does a culture if you have symptoms…I can't have a culture because I have no symptoms!

Usually they do have "blood tests" for herpes, but they're not exactly reliable unless there are symptoms because it's a skin disease. It's usually the best to see a doctor if you have experienced symptoms.

It would be a waste of time to get blood work done because it's not in your blood it's on your skin.
