Thank you… I have read that a person may not really have schizophrenia with negative symptoms (psychiatrict disease) but may have Parkinson's Disease (neurodegenerative disease). They say the former cannot be treated. Im worried for a friend Im reading about his condition. He was diagnosed with Schizophrenia with Negative Symptoms and it's really making him depressed. He is perfectly normal for me and to all of his friends but his knowledge of this diagnosis may destroy him.. Help us please.

If I was given a choice, I would DEFINITELY prefer the Parkinson's, because stem cell treatments for Parkinsons are developing rapidly. stemcellspuhua.com/s31.html.

Schizophrenia is much more difficult to treat.

Neither are 'better to have'. how can you even ask that?!

My grandad who has Parkinson's had a fall about 3 months ago and hasn't had much strength since but also his symptoms of Parkinson's seem to be worse.

Maybe he suffered a concussion? did you get him checked out by doctors?

Yes. He should go tell his doctor about it, and if he doesn't you should.

absolutely. parkinson's disease is a neurological disease, and is directly related to an underproduction of dopamine in certain parts of the brain. a severe blow to the head will definitely affect symptoms, thank of Muhammed Ali….repeated blows to the head may have actually caused his Parkinsons.
