White patches are probably something else, and something less serious.

Maybe you're biting your mouth accidently when you eat or while you sleep, or you have cold sores, or infection.

we can get sores in our mouths for many reasons, so try not to freak yourself out. it might just be canker sores, if that is what they are one easy way to get rid of them is using peach juice, if you can get it w/out syrup that is best. other wise i get a can or jar of peaches in light syrup. swish it around in your mouth for a few mins. keep it refrigerated, do it a couple of times a day. the sores should be gone in no more than two days. it has worked for yrs for my husband and i. we had a holistic dr. tell us to do it. it works!
