I am allergic to cats and almost all of my freinds have cats. when I am at somones house who has cats my chest gets all tight, my nose gets itchy and my eyes get itchy. is there anyway to help or even cure these symptoms. I already take benedral and I already have an inhaler.

there's a powder you can put on cats, you brush it on. my girlfriend and her whole family were the same way when they came to my house. know she has 3 cats and she loves them.any pet store sells the powder.good luck :)

get a vacuum with a hepa filter and vacuum daily, dust weekly

You should go to the doctor and ask him/her how to use the things you own. You may make an appointment with an allergy specialist to learn more. If you go, you may also get more things that may help. this will decrease the reaction and possibly, if you are near one of your friends' cats again, the reaction may not be as severe.
