Do CF patients show any physical symptoms, apart from difficulty breathing and persistent coughing?

It's for a project. I'm discussing the social and financial issues when a child has cystic fibrosis.

CF patients may be smaller than average for their age, and may be thin because of digestive problems and malabsorption. Because of malabsorption, they may also have clubbed fingertips. other than this, CFers look like everybody else–and many CFers you can't tell at all that they have CF!

To the best of my knowledge, a person with CF isn't physically identified. the only thing that may be an outward physical manifestation is that the child is smaller than what is normal for their age. my former sis-in-law's son was feared to have had it because he's a tiny boy. I don't know why they feared it, because he wasn't having any difficulties breathing. It turned out, after extensive testing, that he didn't have CF.

But, like I said, I don't THINK that there's any outward physical "appearance" to a CF patient.
