I took a home pregnancy test yesterday because it was the fifth day of my missed period. my test came out positive but I started my period very light like but still there. I've been having pregnancy symptoms like crazy. Swore boobs food craving nausea swollen fingers irration stuff like that I took another test this morning and it said negative. Could I be pregnant or not? is it possible?

It's implantation bleeding if anything. But, some woman like the other person stated can have light spotting during their pregnancy, but tell the doc you got a + pregnancy test and have spotting.

That was not your period. You are indeed pregnant. Spotting is normal many women mistake it for a period. Once you got a positive it means your pregnant.

Don't listen to people who say you can't have symptoms this early. I had symptoms right after I conceived, within days at the most.

It's way to early for you to have any pregnancy symptoms yet..usually women don't get symptoms until at least 5-6 weeks earliest.. does not mean your not pregnant though just wait to see if your period arrives..

Answer by VeritasPregnancy symptoms do not appear 1 week after conception because implantation would not have occurred yet.

Could these possibly be PMS symptoms? Maybe you could wait several days and then take a pregnancy test.

Me and my girlfriend had sex two weeks ago and she is getting pregnancy symptoms but she is really paranoid and only gets them when she thinks about being pregnant. Is she just paranoid about loosing her future in college cause were only 18??

When a girl thinks she is pregnant, her brain tricks her body into thinking that also.
So that's probably all it is, but if she misses her period, then start worrying.
But, it might be a little late, because she is thinking she is pregnant, so wait for a week after her period starts, and then get her a test.

you can tell your pregnant two weeks after conception is she late? but yes you can have symptoms in same cases people have had there breast get milk belly grow morning sickness etc but are not even pregnant your mind is powerful

It could be either or. Your brain plays tricks on you…maybe she should get on birth control.

I know a pregnancy test is the only way to find out but it's a little early for one and I have bad pms but some of the symptoms i'm getting are way off base for me. I practice safe sex so please don't lecture me on it. I'm anxious and scared and don't know what i'm going to do. so is there any way to tell the difference between pms and pregnancy symptoms?

For me the only difference was my morning sickness. Everything else was the same for me and if I hadn't been pregnant before I would have just thought I was getting my period and a stomach bug. If you're worried wait until you miss your period and take a test that is the only true way to find out.

Truth, honestly the only thing to tell u for sure is the + sign on a home pregnancy stick! Until you can take a test in the coming days rely on your knowledge of really knowing your body.4 of my 5 pregnancies were 'for sure pms'. If you feel even 1 different symptom from any pms/ period normal-monthly stuff for you, then take a test! good luck!

For me the symptoms were the same. I felt like I was having cramps (still do). And my breast got really sore (but they always do). I just tested and that's how I knew the difference

An awful lot of women say they feel like they're getting their period and then it just doesn't come. I think the main difference for some women at first is just the positive test.

Hi all, I'm on cycle day 22 of 26 and feel it could be my month. However. I would like to know every ones first pregnancy symptoms and when they got them.
We are TTC number 2. I didn't have any symptoms with my first until 5 weeks. I know every pregnancy is different.

My first symptom was not having my period. then my breasts started to really hurt. I went to the doctor and they confirmed my pregnancy. as soon as I found out, all the normal symptoms started coming up. first it was nausea, and then I began vomiting every morning. I felt pretty much miserable in the beginning of my pregnancy. But after about 3 months, it started going away. some people don't have any symptoms in the beginning, and then experience symptoms later on. I'm now almost 30 weeks and I feel pretty good. The only thing that's different now is that i'm hungry ALL the time! I have to have a snack almost every hour!

I just got my BFP about 10 days ago…my first symptoms were sore breasts and elevated basal body temperature (not sure if you're temping). Nausea didn't kick in until about 3 days ago (I'm 5w5d today).
My pregnancy tests started showing up positive around 12 dpo (2 days before my expected period).
Everybody's different though…some women have symptoms super early and others not until later.

I guess my first "symptom" was nausea when I skipped a meal or did not eat "on time". my breasts felt swollen and sore. Kinda crampy like I was going to start my period but never would.
I must say that with ALL four of my babies I had the nose of a bloodhound. my sense of smell was outrageous. I could smell my daugher using perfume or powder from my lower floor in a 3 story house.
I deliver number four in a few weeks.

mine started at 3 weeks but im very sensitive to my bod,also yeah its supposed to be different for everyone but it definitly cant happen before the first 2 weeks (i think it has something to do with the implantation)

It's usually between 6-8 weeks. the initial days, you would never know if you are pregnant or not. Even the home pregnancy test kits will be able to confirm pregnancy in about 6 weeks time.

No. Symptoms can start as early as 6 weeks. certain smells will bother you or if you smoke, smoking can make you gag. most women don't know they are pregnant until their missed period or about 8weeks in to the pregnancy.

Well that doesn't always apply to everybody because pregnancy symptoms varies for everybody. With flu-like symptoms you have to be very careful and particular because as almost every country is currently experiencing right HINI Virus. you should closely monitor all these symptoms and get tested if it persists for more than three days. However, pregnancy symptoms can be very similar to flu-like symptoms with the nausea or vomiting. so yes you do have a point but it will match for those two symptoms only.

It depends on the woman. also if you're pregnant w/2 or more babies, symptoms will start earlier. I'd say it's anywhere from 4 – 8 wks that most women get their first symptoms.
