My mom had both chemo and radiation treatments, and they did tell her about "chemo brain" (what the first answer referred to) and boy did she have it! Not at first, but after several treatments she would start to forget things all the time. Nothing major like who we were or anything but she was constantly forgetting things I told her and where she put things and stuff like that…
