this is a sub question to my previous question. the answers i got were all different, so to verify i am curious as to if humans infected with rabies show the same symptoms as animals (ie salivating, no appetite, etc) and if so, how long into the process are the symptoms noticable?

IF you have been exposed to rabies- get care NOW!! it is so fatal in humans that those of us who work in the field of animal care, ie-vets, vet techs, wildlife rescuer, have to get pretreatment with the rabies vaccine to build our immunity because we face such a high risk of exposure compared to the general public.
