Are there any particular disorders related to sex hormone imbalance? are there any key symptoms that are extremely likely signs of sex hormone imbalance?

Hormone balance is essential to good health for women of all ages. Unfortunately, the accuracy of the tests used to determine hormone levels varies widely. The two most prevalent types of testing for hormone imbalance are saliva testing, in which a small sample of a woman’s saliva is analyzed to determine the levels of specified hormones, and serum testing, which is based on the analysis of a blood sample from the woman. Urine testing may also be an option.

Some people might misinterpret this question as a politely indirect question about pms, menstruation, or emotional problems. I don't have problems with any of these things, and I do not feel sick, run down, or moody, just in case your wondering now here's my actual question:

Because, I've always had a lot of (mostly minor) physical problems that are usually associated with sex hormones, I've been wondering for a long time if I might have a sex hormone imbalance. I won't go into the details because I'm not looking for a sample diagnosis, but I want to know more about this topic, so that I can decide if I should get tested or not. what kind of tests should I get to start off, how expensive are they, and will a doctor agree to do the blood tests based on my request alone? maybe you could show me some websites to look at. I've googled it, but I don't really know what I'm doing.
