Any person is under risk to adquire the Herpes Virus while having sexual intercourse with an infected person.

In case of an infected pregnant woman, the risk is very high that the baby can get the virus during labour.

How do you get Herpes ?

There are two ways to adquire the herpes virus:

- During Sexual activities as this infection is transmitted during direct contact with the lesion of an infected person, touching directly a blister, sore. the contact can be oral, vaginal or anal during the penetration or even without it but keeping contact skin to skin.

A sexual partner can trasnmit the infection, even while not having any symptoms of the virus, however the chances decrease greatly.

The most vulnerable part of the body to adquire the viral infection are the eyes, the throat, the anus, the vulva, the urethra, the vagina, the penis and the mouth.

-From mother to baby when the mom is infected and the baby might adquire the virus during the pregnancy or during the labour.

It is impotant to say that there are highly risk to transmit the infection during the outbreak of the virus in the organism.

The Herpes virus cannot be transmitted in pools, gym, public washrooms or showers, either by food, beverages, and not even in sport activities.

There are no risk while visiting hospitals or public places, or touching money, doors and the herpes virus is not transmitted while sneezzing, coughing or thorugh the saliva. neither with wearing clothes, or contact with animals or objects such as spoons, dishes, computers, etc.

The transmission requires the sexual contact, so holding hands, hugs or other actitivies as dancing are not risky to get the Herpes virus.

Blood donation or receive blood is not a risk to get Herpes.

The only risk in order to become infected with Herpes Virus is the direct contact with the blisters or sores caused by an outbreak of the Herpes Virus in the body of the infected person. the risk decreases while the virus stays shut down in the organism of the person, but still there is a chance to spread while having sexual intercourse.

I have flakes (which must come pretty easily out) and red raised blotches all over my scalp. or is it possibly lice. I take at least 1 to 2 showers a day so i dont know how i could have this problem! help!
