last month (Aug 13th) was my last period date, and this month 17th i had been to hospital and the result came to be positive. but still i experience back pain and sometimes stomach ache and other symptoms of menses. Please help???

I didn't know I was prego til after a couple of weeks late cuz my symptoms were the same as when I get my monthly…sore breasts, bloating, fatigue. I'm usually on time but never more than a week late, but I thought I was going to get my monthly because it was the exact same symptoms. around 4-5 weeks when I started the pre-natal vitamins I started getting the 24/7 morning sickness. If this does not work, use a paper bag and breath into it slowly. Make sure the paper bag covers your mouth and nose completely – that way, it will bring back the balance of carbon dioxide and calcium in the blood. it will also help get rid of the tingling sensation and numbness in the fingers, toes and area around the lips. 3. have a full understanding of the condition. when it happens, make sure that people around you know that this is not an act or an attempt at seeking attention. Family and friends should be supportive to patients but at the same time must make sure they are not getting more and more out of control with their anxieties or spoiled. 4. be mentally stronger. try to confront the problems of the condition with smart solutions and try to relax. also, regular exercise can help reduce the chance of hyperventilating as it lowers tension and stress levels. 5. Last night I laid in bed on my stomach and felt this sudden pain in my abdomen. It was in the upper center part, a very particular place, between my ribs. I turned onto my side and it continued for a few minutes, and then it eased somewhat. Today I have been feeling a similar constant, aching pain in the same spot. I'm pretty sure that the place the pain is coming from is where my pancreas is, and I've looked up symptoms for pancreatitis. I don't seem to have any other symptoms, such as fever, but Saturday I did get very nauseus and I threw up. I believe that was due to taking a pain pill for a tooth ache, though. I don't really know what else this could be, but I'm worried about it because this type of pain doesn't feel like a normal stomach ache or flu or anything. any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I know exactly how you feel. that happens to me all the time- it's probably just growing pains, or maybe something you ate. I know it's abnormal, but it should pass. If it doesn't, consult a doctor. But chances are that it's nothing, and there's no reason to jump to conclusions.

Kayla, It doesn't sound like pancreatitis. With pancreatitis the pain doesn't really go away without medicine and you will vomit alot. What did you eat prior? Was it fatty or greasy? Gallbladder may be a better answer. has your gb been removed?

I'm 16, stomach ulcers run in the family. for the last 2-3 weeks, I wake up with a horrible stomach ache. It feels like I'm so hungry that I could get sick. After I eat something, it goes away.

I also have really bad heartburn. I have had this since I was very young. I got an upper GI when I was 11, but nothing showed up.

Can someone please tell me what ALL the symptoms are of a stomach ulcer? Thanks.

Peter Ball had suffered from stomach ache for a while and at first thought he had pulled a muscle

A surgeon potentially saved the life of an old schoolfriend by diagnosing his symptoms for appendicitis on Facebook.

Rahul Velineni, from the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, saw Peter Ball's status update on his stomach pains and his trouble walking.

He sent the 30-year-old from Cheshire a message telling him he should see a doctor immediately.

He has thanked his old schoolfriend for offering crucial advice at exactly the right time.

Mr Ball had been suffering from stomach ache for a while and at first thought he had pulled a muscle.

As his symptoms became worse, he decided to put himself to bed, posting an update that he was "walking like an old man" on his Facebook page.

He said: "I woke at about half-three in the morning in pain and saw I had a message from Rahul asking me to call him and saying he thought I might have appendicitis.

Peter Ball says he owes his old friend Rahul Velineni a few drinks

"The message really hammered home how important it was that I get this checked out."

Deciding not to disturb Mr Velineni in the early hours, Mr Ball instead took himself to his GP first thing and was referred to Macclesfield General Hospital.

He said: "By 7.30 that night I was in the operating theatre having my appendix out.

"The doctors said it had already ruptured. it was surprisingly serious.

"When I got home I phoned Rahul and thanked him profusely – I definitely owe him a few drinks for this."

Mr Velineni said that appendicitis was often difficult to diagnose, but he had thought his friend's status update sounded "odd".

"At once a light bulb went off in my head and I took the decision to get in touch with him.

"Thankfully he went to see his GP and the cycle started, because he had a nasty appendix and it was taken out."

The surgeon remained modest, however: "I think the people in the operation saved his life – I just gave him a kick in the right direction."

Mr Ball said he generally only used Facebook for staying in touch with friends.

"something like this shows it can be about saving lives too," he said.

Ok so for almost 3 days i had low grade fever around 37.5 centigrades then the second day i had 38.2 . That night my temperature went down to 36.2 so that was a good sign. the next morning i had 37.3 AGAIN ! Ok so the symptoms i had were….. fever of course , i was a little dizzy the first day for like 5 to 10 minutes then i was ok and the last one i should mention a little bit of tiredness . before i go any further i should mention i had through the first 2 days i had a sort of stomach ache with alot of gasses and the third day i only had gas but still with a little bit of cramping in the stomach area around the "belly button" . My mom says it should be only because of roundworms of something but still i wanna be sure before i get my analysis cause i'm really scared cause if it is hepatitis a this would be the second time i got it and yes it has been around 2 years maybe 2 and a half years since i first got it . Oh and one more thing in case you need to know this. My skin didn't turn yellow neither my eyes . I really HOPE someone could give a good answer soon cause i don't wanna faint in the hospitals main hallway . Oh and about the roundworms since i mentioned about them can you get a fever from them ???

Get a blood test ! from your doctor ! and worm medication.

Since you had previous infection of HAV so the relapse of hepatitis is difficult, and if happened it will be maximum after 40 weeks of your first infection.
and the round worms infection can't cause fever.
I think you have a bacterial Diarrhea and you'll be OK soon after having proper medication.

You do not have Hepatitis a. You might have a Flu, the only way to find out is a blood test and some medical checkups.

5 weeks ago I was diagnosed with pancreatitis, I have been back to the hospital three times as a inpatient, if anyone has ever had this illness could you tell me how long the symptoms last, eg stomach ache, not eating etc

All day today my labrador retriever has been dripping clear drool, looks miserable (but is not whining), and her stomach doesn't look 100% healthy. . .I've heard about the stomach flipping thing, but I wondered if there was anything else theses symptoms would mean, like something less serious. Is there anything that I can do, or has this ever happened to your dog and you know what's wrong? She's been sleeping an extra lot too, and she has this really miserable look on her face.

you don't want your dog to be miserable. Call a Vet.

She may be suffering from a bad stomach ache or stomach bug. but don't trust my word, call your vet. They're there to help you with things like this, and if there's nothing wrong better safe than sorry.

i cant beleive someone would take the time to write about such a problem when you could be on your way to a vet

im not sure what it is, but it sounds like something my dog just recently had, where his nose was running and he slept all the time and looked way too unhappy. we took him to the vet and they still didn't know what the problem was, but his lungs were filled with liquid, and he had to recover from it. it might just be nothing, but definitely go to a vet and get her checked out; you dont want anything bad to happen to her!

Well it could be something as least serious as la oose tooth or it could mean there is another health problem, if it came on suddenly and you haven't noticed it before, it very well could possibly indicate a health problem. It's always best to be safe than sorry. I'd take her to the vet.

Time to go to the vets? if you think something is up with a dog that YOU know is not looking or acting right you need to have it checked out.

Is its belly hard? Does it whine when you push on it? It might have Gastric dilatation volvulus (GDV)(stomach flipping). However since your dog is a lab then it is probably not. She might also have been poisoned or something like that. Ether way I would take her to the vet immediately.

Take her to the vet tomorrow. they can check her out, maybe take an X-ray. If her stomach's flipped, they'll be able to put it back and maybe make sure it won't do it again.

i am a vet and it doesn't matter what else it could be with symptoms like that it needs to be taken to the emergency animal hospital immediately because it could die within hours
