From personal experience, certain medications, especially opiates tend to make one sweat a lot while sleeping. your body is probably trying to rid itself of some toxins if this is the case with you.

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure at a young age and I was wondering if these two cases were related since many people in my family also have it. I have had possible symptoms and I was just womdering if they were the symptoms of anxiety.

High BP and anxiety do not necessarily go hand in hand. you can have high BP and not be anxious. in fact. lots of people don't even know they have it.
Anxiety, well you know if you have that! It is horrible. you feel like you are constnatly on alert, you sweat, you get tummy cramps. There are loads of anxiety symptoms. however, high BP doesn't necessarily go. I have anxiety problems but my BP is always fine.
I think if you are pre disposed to high BP, then anxiety might make it worse.

Sometimes when I play tennis in the hot sun (90-105) temperatures for a while (2-3 hours) I get the chills, especially in my arms…the hairs on my arms stand up… and the chills come maybe just once or twice and then go away. are the chills a symptom of some sort of heat stroke/heat exhaustion? I don't have any other symptoms besides those that are common when one exercises a lot. oh and later at night I feel very hot and sweat sometimes i even get hot flashes. I do and drink a lot of fluids while playing of course

What I mean is, do you ONLY have the symptoms of diabetes (peeing often, drinking often etc.) if you have high blood sugar?

High blood sugar or hyperglycemia and low blood sugar or hypoglycemia have practically the same effects when they are very high or very low. these are cold sweat, and if not prevented on time, dizziness and then blackout. Both are dangerous situations. now, with regards your question, the symptoms that you mentioned (peeing often, drinking often, etc.) are indicative of high blood sugar but are not exclusive as low sugar could give conflicting results.

Well there is hypoglycemia, which could be a type of diabetes, which is low blood sugar instead of high. so you could have the symptoms of diabetes if you have low blood sugar too.

I feel dizzy, I break out in sweat suddenly, I get blurred vision and I feel like I need to sit down. are these symptoms of low blood sugar?

that sounds like when you feel like right when youre about to pass out.
but its not as far as my knowledge with the sweating… im hypoglycenic
and i get dizzy and feel like throwing up like nausous but thats about it

Last night at work, my Mom got sick all of a sudden. she broke out in a heavy sweat, had severe back pains, nausea – she ended up barfing but she says she thinks it was because she gulped down cold water suddenly – got light headed and had lockjaw this morning. all of her vitals were checked out by the nurse on staff and looked good according to the nurse. At first I thought it was food poisoning because of the nausea, and I know that heart attack symptoms can vary, but she's gone back to work and is being stubborn about seeing the doctor. What do you all think??? she is 59.

Drinking very cold water, because it passes directly by the heart on it's way down the esophagus can stimulate a heart attack. So I'm guessing she had a mild heart attack, the others symptoms point to one as well.

yes this is called stubborn and she should be seeing the doctor not sure why it could be heart or it could be someting else. i mean its good to find out the severe sweating leads me to think heart or clogged arteries but we dont know til the doctor sings.

go to her PCP. he can refer her to a cardiologist. just to be sure. he will probably do a stress test. it's better to be safe than sorry. the thing with women is that their symptoms can be very different!!! ECG may very well not show any arrythmias and/or irregularities. And although nurses are very intelligent and i love them to death. with ECG interpreting you have to practice it specifically almost everyday. certain things and measurements of waves are hard to detect by the naked eye if it's small. did they do any blood work? it may show up there as well.

Make her go to the doctor!!! I don't want to scare you but I think you'll just keep worrying if you dont
