Help me.

i found The newest chick in my cockatiels nest at the other side of the nest this morning, away from the parents.

This chicks crop is also empty.

So i tried hand feeding it but it would not open its mouth.

The only thing i could think of that is wrong is that the baby possibly has that lockjaw thing from bordatella or whatever that virus is called.

However, the baby only shows the lockjaw symptom.

The baby can barely lift its head.

But it peeps.

feed him with this syringe put baby food in it and tap his beak. if you tap his beak he'll think its his mommy bird trying to feed him and probably open his mouth.. the baby food should be stage 1 and only fruits.. wash your hands ater touching him and keep him warm

i hope he does well..

i had a simaler problem so i fed it baby bird formula. just keep trying to get some food in it, at first you have to push lightly in to the beak, he will get the message. you should call the vet , they will help you with your problem
