Some symptoms can be losing 15% or more of body weight. A person who has Anorexia may abuse laxatives, diuretics, and enemas. S/he may also self induce vomiting. for women, menstrual periods may stop happening. there are also symptoms due to malnutrition which are: constipation, digestive discomfort, bloating, dehydration, muscle cramps, and tremors; downy body hair on the face, back, or arms; dull, brittle, thinning hair; flattened breasts, cracked or dry skin, icy hands and/or feet, irregular heartbeat, depression and/or anxiety. Anorexia also causes low levels of estrogen and thyroid hormone, and increased levels of cortisol.

*Suspect a problem if you:
-Have lost at least 15% percent of your weight without a physical illness and still think of yourself as fat.
-Have not had your period in three months in a row.
-Fear being overweight and losing control of your diet.
-Feel that staying hungry is the only way to keep your weight under control.

I feel this certain kind of pain on my left side when i ovulate. I just had a Myomectomy( fibroids) in November and i was feeling such pains b4 then. I thot it would stop after the surgery.my Gynae checked during the surgery and he said my tubes & ovaries are fine.

I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago. my symptoms were very irregular periods, severe cramping, weight gain with little appetite. I was constantly tired no matter how much sleep I got, heavy heavy bleeding, and cramping even when I did not have my period. you can never know if this is what you have unless you visit your doctor and talk to him/her about it, and there are many other symptoms you may or may not have.
