Symptoms of Chlamydia:

If you have chlamydia, chances are that you may exhibit few symptoms. Chlamydia symptoms may be mild and can easily go undetected. Women are more likely to experience few symptoms associated with the infection although chlamydia in men can also result in few or no symptoms. Signs of chlamydia usually appear between 1 and 3 weeks after infection, though sometimes they can take longer to manifest.

Symptoms of Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea can be difficult to diagnose, especially in women. this is because women often exhibit few or no symptoms, or mistake gonorrhea for a mild bladder infection; in fact, as many as 50% of female gonorrhea sufferers experience no symptoms. Men are much more likely to develop symptoms. Gonorrhea can infect the cervix, urethra, anus, and throat. Depending upon how you contracted the disease and how long you've had it for, you may experience symptoms affecting a number of these areas.

An oral infection often causes a sore throat, and a pus-like material on the tonsils or on the back of the throat. Infections in these areas can easily spread to other parts of the body so it is important to get treated as soon as possible.

Discharge

Pain and Burning

I have a throat infection that hurts really bad, no runny nose or other symptoms at all. the doctor said it was probably a virus but he gave me antibiotics anyway. Should I take the antibiotics? Could it be bacterial?

If he did indeed prescribe you antibiotics, you should take them most likely. He probably noticed that you had a bacterial infection in the first place. you know, you could have strep throat?Have you ever considered that?

Guttate psoriasis, sometimes known as teardrop or raindrop psoriasis, is most commonly found in children and younger adults. The most common form of psoriasis treatment is by the use of emollients. these are moisturizing and soothing creams applied to the affected areas, often used in conjunction with a vitamin D supplement. other common prescription medicines given to treat the these skin conditions are mild, and often more powerful, steroids depending on the severity of the case. these should only be used under strict medical supervision owing to their potentially harmful side effects.

If these treatments have limited effect you may be referred for phototherapy treatment. here ultra violet light is used, strictly under the control of a dermatologist to avoid any risk of over exposure for your skin type and to avoid any risk of sunburn symptoms. you will attend 2 to 3 days a week for a course lasting 6 to 8 weeks at a time. The amount of light will be carefully calculated and administered by the dermatologist and will be of a different wavelength to that found in commercial sunbeds to give you the maximum benefit with the minimum exposure.

Even without medical intervention a large percentage of Guttate psoriasis patients can make a full recovery, but with early diagnosis and treatment Guttate psoriasis is one of the more controllable forms of this skin disease.

Most people are concerned about the question: is strep throat contagious? yes, it is. Strep throat infection can be passed to anyone anytime. if you are infected and come into close contact with someone, there are great chances that you will infect him/her as well. The incubation lasts from two to five days.

People who are infected are concerned about the period during which they are contagious to other people. People who work in crowded places and people who have families living in the same house with them are often afraid that they will infect people around them. and they are afraid for a reason, since this infection is highly contagious and spreads very fast. If you are infected, make sure to keep away from others until your therapy starts to work. keep your hands clean and avoid close contacts with other people. Be careful when sneeze or cough. your personal things should be kept away from children and no one else should use your things.

Even though we know that antibiotics help in solving this problem, do not take them by yourself. Consult your doctor first and let him make sure that you actually have strep throat infection. sometimes it can be mistaken for other viral infections that can not be cured by using antibiotics.
