Can we have a baby without me getting infected?

YES YOU CAN STILL HAVE A BABY BUT YOU MIGHT WANNA LET HER DOCTOR KNOW SHE HAS HPV. YOU SHOULD ASK HER DOCTOR IF SHE COULD HAVE A C-SECTION THAT WAY THEIRS NO DANGER TO THE BABY, I KNOW IT'S RARE BUT SOMETIMES THE MOTHER CAN PASS ON THE WARTS TO THE BABY IF ITS BORN VAGINALLY.

yes but u would have to get frutility (don't know if i spelled that right) treats ment and i would also get a c sectoin so if would have it the baby would have a smaller chance of getting it durning birth

Depending on what type of HPV strain you are infected with, you may or may not experience any HPV symptoms. Those infected with what is known as "low risk" HPV will likely just have one HPV symptom: genital warts. These can develop anywhere from a few weeks to a few months after exposure to the virus. You can have a baby, but there will be a strong likelihood that his genital warts will be transmitted to you. if you do develop genital warts, please advise your doctor of the chances, because this will determine if you would have a vaginal birth, or a c-section.

Having genital warts causes no problem with fertility. I would suggest that your partner have genital warts treated before you start trying to have a baby, to reduce or eliminate the chances of you getting infected.
Condom usage does not protect against genital warts. there is very effective treatment for genital warts in men – a cream called "Aldara" – that will eliminate the warts in the man. it is best for you not to have intercourse while he is still untreated.

I went to docs this morning because of extremely irregular periods and pain during intercourse, only just started having sex (and only had sex maybe 4 times) so not sure if this is anything or not though). Im 26 and was panicing was cervical or uterine cancer.

The doc did an oh so comfy examination where she used a finger to feel inside the vagina, and this in itself did hurt me quite alot. Should it have? she said she couldnt feel anything abnormal like any lump but did say the inside of my vagina was very very red! and that this was most likely Thrush, BUT I have had no itching or pain on urination occur ever, so im thinking how can it be this??

Shes sent a swab away for analysis which will come back in a week’s time. Is it possible for it to be Thrush with internal vaginal redness as the only symptom??

She said they couldnt do a smear test there and then and didnt offer any further tests yet for the irregular periods, but did say after the results for the Thrush come back we may need to look into an ultrasound with a probe inside me which she said id probs find painful!!!!

How would a seemingly healthy person know to "SUSPECT" they might be infected with HIV or Hepatitis? Assume this person is sexually active in a normal way!!

Well the first sign of HIV would be flu like symtoms that can last a couple of days. Diarrhea, dehydration and Puking. so you could not determine if you have HIV or just a simple flu. If you were to have HIV for a longer period of time I would say skin rashes, thrush in the mouth, Fatigue or very sensitive to catch any type of flu or cold infection. the only way to know for sure is to have blood work done. I have been HIV positive for 14yrs now and if you saw me you would never believe it!!!

I went to the dr today because I had thrush – I have diabetes and get it a lot, although I haven't had it for about a year – it just suddenly came on a couple of days ago really bad. the dr tested my urine while I was there and said I have a urine infection (the stick was the darkest colour showing a strongly positive result), but I've never had one before and I don't have any symptoms except feeling a bit ill – nothing specific just not quite myself which I put down to the thrush getting me down a bit.

This all started when I had Cholera and Hep B vaccinations on Tuesday but I don't know if that's a coincidence?

The problem is that if I take the antibiotics for the uti it'll make the thrush worse so I don't want to take them if I don't have a urine infection. the dr said that sometimes thrush can cause a positive result for a uti but she'd give me antibiotics anyway and when I said wouldn't that make my thrush worse she was like 'yes a lot worse' but then prescribed me them anyway!! I've never had a urine infection before and I'm really not convinced that I have one now – should I take the antibiotics anyway?? What'll happen if I do have a uti and I don't take them? I feel like either way I could be making myself worse!

Sorry about the long explanation – I really need help – I don't know what to do!! I did try to ask the dr but she wasn't very friendly and just kind of brushed me off. Thank you so much for your help!! xxx

There are a couple of things you can do to ease the thrush, both sound a bit surprising. One is that you can bathe it with roouibosh tea (you can get it from health food shops if the supermarket hasn't got any) make it like ordinary tea and bathe as much of the area as you can get to with cotton wool dipped in the cool tea.(or just rinse your mouth with it if the thrush is there) this really does help. I have also read that putting live plain yogurt on it helps too, but haven't tried it. I would advise you to take the antibiotics because a urinary infection can make you feel very ill if left untreated. As soon as the course is finished eat plenty of plain yogurt which will help to replace the beneficial gut bacteria that the antibiotics will kill off.

You will probably end up like me, I got a freak kidney infection after a slight 2 day uti.
Since you have thrush you would have been given a prescription cream to end it.
Take them together, as having a kidney infection in my opinion is MUCH worse than having a thrush infection.

The fungus Candida Albicans is a microorganism, one of many in fact, that lives on our bodies and it is the overgrowth of that fungus that leads to yeast infections. like all fungi it prefers moist, dark and warm environments – so yeast infections tend to develop in such places on the body like the genitals, anus, folds of skin, and the mouth. Preventing Thrush: there are things you can do to help prevent an infection of the mouth happening. Keeping excellent oral hygiene is important, which involves brushing twice a day as well as flossing. Mouthwashes are not a good idea as they upset the balance of microorganisms in the mouth and may deplete good bacteria making you more likely to get a yeast infection. Smoking is not good and if you are a smoker your odds of getting Thrush are higher.

How to treat Thrush: there are several over the counter options for you to choose from, or if it is a particularly severe case you need to see your doctor for a stronger drug. there are also natural means to help soothe the symptoms such as eating plain probiotic yogurt. In order to prevent a recurring problem look for the triggers above and identify what your root cause is and deal with that too.
