STD is a term for sexually-transmitted disease which can be one of many and symptoms vary widely.

If you have hiv There may not be any syptoms except maybe some flu like symptoms.other STDs have symptoms such as Discoloration, bumps or lacerations, Painful discharge, painful urination. honestly your best bet is to get tested. they have many clinic which do the tests for free. better Safe than sorry

Condoms can not prevent the spread of viral diseases such as warts and herpes. you can catch those from pubic areas rubbing together. they are living on the skin in the genital area, including the genitals AND the surrounding area. all that is necessary is for your skin to contact a spot infected on someone else.

CDC reports show 1 in 5 Americans have Herpes Simplex II. most people do not learn about Herpes until they catch them. if they did read about STD's they would know Condoms can't protect you from viral diseases.
