Try your local library or book store, they have a medical encyclopedia for children and adults but I want to stress that these are great books but in know way take the place of a doctors medical advice. If you are unhappy or unsure of a diagnosis or lack of, then I'd suggest getting a 2nd opinion

Are there websites out there where I chat with a medical specialist for info, advice, and surgery? I specifically want to chat with a hemorrhoid specialist. Maybe a protologist?

Rtang, there are sites for advise but they have 3 prices and want to know what you can pay, try going to web md they have lots of info and maybe answers to your questions. I hope this helps Rita V
