I just lost my sister on 4/20 to Pancreatic Cancer. The problem with this cancer is there are no symptoms until it is to late. She turned yellow and her bile duct was clogged resulting in everything in her bowel to pass threw her mouth…. we rushed her to the hospital and the rest is history. she was diagnosed on 7/20 and passed on 4/20….emotionally.. she was great… she swore to fight this with every chemo / radiation treatment… it was me that was emotionally gone… i knew the end result was she was not going to win… but she thought she could. the Dr's. never told her she was going to die… they tell you that they do not have a crystal ball to see the future.

I miss her more then words can say, but I hope she is in a better place!

The symptoms depend on the type of tumor and the hormone produced.

You can do a web search on "signs and symptoms of pancreatic tumors" and read through the sites.

The early stage of pancreatic cancer often has no symptoms. there may be some pain on the left side of the abdomen which radiates to the back. Jaundice, loss of appetite, weight loss may also occur. Unfortunately most cases are diagnosed in the later stages of the disease when the cancer is more advanced.
