<p> A free presentation, &#8220;Updates &#105;&#110; Sinus &amp; Allergy Treatments,&#8221; will take place Thursday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m., at &#116;&#104;&#101; Hanover Hospital Wellness &amp; Education Center, 400 York St., Hanover. A light dinner will be served at 5 p.m.
<p> Zaher Srour, M.D., &#097;&#110; ear, nose and throat and facial plastic specialist at Hanover Medical Group Ear, Nose &amp; Throat, Hanover, will discuss &#116;&#104;&#101; newest sinus and allergy treatments &#097;&#118;&#097;&#105;&#108;&#097;&#098;&#108;&#101; at &#116;&#104;&#101; Hanover Sinus Center of Excellence, including:
<p> Sinus headaches and migraines
<p> Allergy/sinusitis symptoms and medication treatment
<p> Newest allergy testing and treatment methods
<p> Newest technology &#105;&#110; minimally invasive surgeries
<p> Balloon Sinuplasty
<p> Fellowship trained &#105;&#110; cranial base surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Srour &#119;&#097;&#115; &#097;&#109;&#111;&#110;&#103; &#116;&#104;&#101; &#102;&#105;&#114;&#115;&#116; physicians &#105;&#110; &#116;&#104;&#101; area to receive balloon sinuplasty training shortly after &#116;&#104;&#101; procedure &#119;&#097;&#115; approved by &#116;&#104;&#101; FDA. He &#104;&#097;&#115; &#098;&#101;&#101;&#110; performing &#116;&#104;&#101; procedure since 2008, and &#104;&#097;&#115; completed &#109;&#111;&#114;&#101; than 200 cases at Hanover Hospital, with &#110;&#111; complications.

<p><b> Hanover registering kindergartners </b>
<p> Hanover Public School District will hold kindergarten registration 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 11, at &#116;&#104;&#101; three elementary schools.
<p> Appointments &#099;&#097;&#110; be &#109;&#097;&#100;&#101; beginning Feb. 8 by calling &#116;&#104;&#101; schools &#8211; 637-9000, extension 100 &#102;&#111;&#114; Clearview, extension 125 &#102;&#111;&#114; Hanover Street, and extension 150 &#102;&#111;&#114; Washington.
<p> &#116;&#104;&#101; parent or guardian should bring &#116;&#104;&#101; child &#097;&#115; well &#097;&#115; &#116;&#104;&#101; child&#8217;s birth or baptismal certificate, child&#8217;s immunization record &#102;&#114;&#111;&#109; &#116;&#104;&#101; doctor, child&#8217;s Social Security card and proof of residency (a utility bill). Children must by 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2011, to register.

<p><b> Heart program &#102;&#111;&#114; Women planned </b>
<p> Penn State Cooperative Extension &#105;&#110; York County will offer &#116;&#104;&#101; Strong Women-Healthy Hearts Program, a 12-week nutrition and exercise program &#102;&#111;&#114; women age 40 and over &#105;&#110; February.
<p> &#097;&#110; informational meeting will be held at &#116;&#104;&#101; extension office, 112 Pleasant Acres Road, York, &#111;&#110; Feb. 1. &#097;&#110; orientation will be held &#111;&#110; Feb. 3 and classes will begin &#111;&#110; Feb. 8, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays &#116;&#104;&#114;&#111;&#117;&#103;&#104; April 28. All meetings, orientations, and classes will be held &#102;&#114;&#111;&#109; 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
<p> &#116;&#104;&#101; series will be led by Marcia Weber, Penn State Cooperative Extension Family &amp; Consumer Sciences Educator &#119;&#104;&#111; will take nutritional and physical activity research and translate &#105;&#116; into &#097;&#110; easy-to-follow program. Participants will gain &#116;&#104;&#101; knowledge and experience needed to lead a healthier lifestyle.

<p><b> Hospice looking &#102;&#111;&#114; volunteers </b>
<p> AseraCare Hospice, a provider of hospice and palliative care services, &#105;&#115; looking &#102;&#111;&#114; volunteers to serve with &#105;&#116;&#115; &#8220;On-Call Volunteer Response Team&#8221; &#105;&#110; Hanover. &#116;&#104;&#101; volunteers will provide a comforting presence to patients &#105;&#110; &#116;&#104;&#101; final stages of &#116;&#104;&#101;&#105;&#114; disease.
<p> On-Call volunteers hold a hand, read or just sit quietly. They &#104;&#097;&#118;&#101; &#097;&#110; opportunity to spend time with &#115;&#111;&#109;&#101;&#111;&#110;&#101; during one of &#116;&#104;&#101; &#109;&#111;&#115;&#116; personal and important moments of &#116;&#104;&#101;&#105;&#114; lives.
<p> &#116;&#104;&#101;&#114;&#101; are &#110;&#111; set days or times. Volunteers will be called when &#116;&#104;&#101;&#114;&#101; &#105;&#115; a need. Volunteers determine &#119;&#104;&#105;&#099;&#104; request they want to &#102;&#105;&#108;&#108; and may turn down request they are unable to do. AseraCare will provide training and mentoring.

<p><b> Windy Hill to offer Zumba classes </b>
<p> Windy Hill Senior Center will begin offering a new Zumba Gold Class Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 1:00 p.m.
<p> &#116;&#104;&#101; class &#116;&#104;&#097;&#116; &#117;&#115;&#101;&#115; Latin styles of music and dance will continue at &#116;&#104;&#101; same time each Wednesday at &#116;&#104;&#101; senior center located at 50 North East Street, Spring Grove.
<p> Classes are open to seniors ages 60 and older and are &#097;&#118;&#097;&#105;&#108;&#097;&#098;&#108;&#101; &#102;&#111;&#114; $25 &#102;&#111;&#114; 10 weeks or $3 per class.
