The poster encourages healthcare providers and patients to recognize the signs and symptoms of tuberculosis.

The signs and symptoms of tuberculosis listed on the poster are: coughing up blood, weakness, loss of appetite, chest pains, anorexia, exposure to tuberculosis, significant skin test, weight loss, chills, failure to thrive, positive skin test, malaise, fatigue, abnormal x-ray, night sweats, fever, hemoptysis, difficult breathing, cough and shortness of breath.

PERSONAL INFO:
– 18 years old
– Male
– Height: 165 cm / 5 Foot 5 inches
– Weight: 57 Kg / Around 120 pounds

SYMPTOMS:
– Lumbar pain (lower back)
– light testicular pain
– urinating with some blood
– Burning urination
– ejaculation sensation when ending urination
– frequent need to urinate
– incomplete urination

TESTS AND RESULTS:
– Blood tests = normal
– Creatinine = in a normal level 0.84 ( normal from 0.7-1.4)
– Urine test = presence of white blood cells, presence of red blood cells, no significant amount of bacteria
– Urine culture = no bacteria growth
– Intravenous Urogram (IVU) = Kidenys are fine. Ureters are fine. Bladder is fine. NO KIDNEY STONES.

OTHER DATA:
– I've never had sex so I know for sure its not a sexually transmitted disease.
– I have a pending X-ray CT for more evidence, I'll add Results when I get them.
– I have a pending appointment with my Urologist, I'll add his answers aswell.
– 11 days ago I was playing micro-soccer ( has a harder ball than regular soccer) and got a pretty hard hit on my bladder area.
– some symptoms have been showing since the past 10 days, some are more recent, and some of them come and go, I'll describe:
– - – 1. the blood in urine and the burning urination is felt about every 2-3 days for the entire day (mostly when I don't drink enough fluids) followed by ejaculation sensation.
– - – 2. the lower back pain has been coming and going since the last 6 days.
– - – 3. Light testicular pain is not frequent: once 6 days ago, once yesterday
– - – 4. Frequent need to urinate comes when: I drink a lot of fluids OR urinating pain is present.
– - – 5. Incomplete urination has been persistent.

HYPOTHESIS:
I've been reading a lot about Urology the past few days and the disease that has the closest symptoms to the ones I have is NONBACTERIAL PROSTATITIS.
I was wondering if the cause could have been thanks to the hit that I received. this is as close as a got to a Diagnosis.

Not eating and sneezing may be just an upper respiratory infection. Do you know for sure he ate the chicken bone?? if you know for sure, take him to the vets ASAP! he'll need an x-ray and possibly surgery. if your still unsure. how long has he not been eating? More than 2 days, take him to the vets. Less than that, and hes still drinking water and has no vomiting or diarrhea and still seems "ok" you can wait. but just be sure to watch him closely. if any new symptoms come up, or anything gets worse, vets immediately! good luck. I have a tender growing lump on my rib cage. I'm waiting for a cat scan results. I was wondering what are the symptoms of bone cancer and what are the tests? Can a cat scan show if there is some sort of cancer there? I had an x ray done and it came back clear but my doctor is still concerend as am I. In the rib cage, only the rear two-thirds of each rib is actually made of bone. Approximately the front third is made of gristle, (cartilage). The point where the two (bone and gristle) join, is sometimes a site for swelling if you're very low on vitamin D.

Another possibility is whether,if your lump is in the 'boney' part of the rib, whether you might have knocked and cracked the rib at that point, I mean injured it? A swelling develops at the point where a bone fracture is healing.

Bone cancer doesn't necessarily cause any noticeable symptoms at first. It's a good symptom to find a hard lump – that means that whatever is causing the lump is well-encapsulated, which makes it difficult for cells to spread if they are cancerous.

ct should tell if there is a tumor also other tests are bone scan, MRI, and blood test. Most tumors on the bone should show up on an x-ray. that is how my son's was first diagnosed. we then had all the other test run to find out what type it was. Good luck to you!

Hi so I went to a free health clinic just 1 weeks ago because i lost my health insurance. The main reason I even went there was to get an MMR shot for school because I got the shot too early as a kid, so it didn't count, and while I was there they checked my chart and saw that i didn't get a TB shot in 5 years, apparently i'm suppose to get it every year, but i've been avoiding it with my doctor until i lost my insurance. so they offered to give it to me there with the MMR, after a day or two i developed a lump on the site of the injection and it hurts sometimes, but i went back on the day they told me to come back for blood work. When they saw the lump, they measured it and took some temps and ask if i was coughing or feeling sick, but i wasn't at all. they said i tested positive for TB. I think they infected me, because I was negative just 5 years ago, but now after taking a dose of tb i have it. they told me to take a x ray and do my blood work and the results come out next week. I'm so pissed and so is my family, I think its their fault, is it good to give 2 shots at a time? also they try to blame it on the one i took 5 years ago and on other shots i took as a kid, but thats just bs. after the accident, i haven't develop any bad symptoms, but i 've been going to the bathroom a lot #2 that is, its not normal, it just comes even if i haven't eaten. recently i have chest pain… (not heavy sensations… it rather "scratch" like)
i thought it was angina or heart disease
then i went to see 3 doctors (1 internist and 2 cardiologist)
after i ran for some tests (Blood Test, X Ray, EKG, and Stress Test Treadmill)
everything is normal and appropriate…
the doctors assured me that i'm ok…
they diagnosed my chest pain caused by indigestion…

now…
there are things that makes me worry again…
if my chest pain is not heart related pain…
then why do sometimes i feel my chin (jaw line) pain and my left arm tingling comes and goes ?

You more than likely have pinched muscles in your back. When pinched they tend to tighten up making it hard to breathe, it can make it feel like you have a car on your chest.
