<p>Rouses Markets (rouses.com) has issued a recall &#111;&#102; some &#111;&#102; &#105;&#116;&#115; wild-caught yellow fin tuna steaks &#098;&#101;&#099;&#097;&#117;&#115;&#101; &#111;&#102; a food poisoning risk, &#116;&#104;&#101; U.S. Food &#097;&#110;&#100; Drug Administration (FDA) &#106;&#117;&#115;&#116; announced.</p>
<p>The recalled wild-caught yellow fin tuna steaks &#097;&#114;&#101; labeled as a product &#111;&#102; USA &#119;&#105;&#116;&#104; a UPC Code beginning &#119;&#105;&#116;&#104; 208732 &#097;&#110;&#100; were sold &#097;&#116; Rouses Markets &#119;&#105;&#116;&#104; Sell By dates &#098;&#101;&#116;&#119;&#101;&#101;&#110; December 1, 2010 &#097;&#110;&#100; January 27, 2011. These previously frozen tuna steaks &#097;&#114;&#101; being recalled &#098;&#101;&#099;&#097;&#117;&#115;&#101; &#111;&#102; potential elevated levels &#111;&#102; histamine. This recall &#100;&#111;&#101;&#115; not impact any &#111;&#116;&#104;&#101;&#114; fish &#111;&#114; seafood sold by Rouses Markets.</p>
<p>High levels &#111;&#102; histamine &#099;&#097;&#110; produce &#097;&#110; allergic reaction, called histamine fish poisoning &#111;&#114; scromboid fish poisoning. Symptoms &#111;&#102; Histamine Fish Poisoning generally &#097;&#112;&#112;&#101;&#097;&#114; within minutes &#116;&#111; &#097;&#110; hour &#097;&#102;&#116;&#101;&#114; eating &#116;&#104;&#101; affected fish. There have been two reported incidents by consumers.</p>
<p>The following &#097;&#114;&#101; &#116;&#104;&#101; most common Symptoms &#111;&#102; Scromboid Fish Poisoning, also known as Histamine Fish Poisoning: Tingling &#111;&#114; burning sensation &#105;&#110; &#116;&#104;&#101; mouth, facial swelling, rash, hives &#097;&#110;&#100; itchy skin, nausea, Vomiting &#111;&#114; diarrhea. &#116;&#104;&#101; symptoms &#111;&#102; this Foodborne Illness usually resolve within several hours without medical intervention; &#104;&#111;&#119;&#101;&#118;&#101;&#114;, each individual may experience Food Poisoning differently; &#105;&#102; symptoms &#097;&#114;&#101; severe, &#097;&#110; individual may need &#116;&#111; seek medical attention &#102;&#111;&#114; treatment &#119;&#105;&#116;&#104; antihistamines.</p>
<p>If consumers have wild-caught yellow fin tuna steaks &#105;&#110; &#116;&#104;&#101;&#105;&#114; freezer &#119;&#105;&#116;&#104; &#116;&#104;&#101; indicated UPC code &#097;&#110;&#100; Sell By dates, &#116;&#104;&#101;&#121; may return &#116;&#104;&#101; product &#116;&#111; &#116;&#104;&#101; store &#102;&#111;&#114; a full refund. <p>The wild caught yellow fin tuna steaks were distributed &#116;&#111; &#116;&#104;&#101; two states where Rouses Markets operates: Louisiana &#097;&#110;&#100; Mississippi. Rouses Market has removed &#116;&#104;&#101; affected product &#102;&#114;&#111;&#109; &#097;&#108;&#108; seafood cases.</p></p>
