i am in 10th class right now. in my 8th class i cut my hand with a blade and i do not know that the blade was new or not. is there any chances of tetanus to me????
The spore or germ that causes this infection doesn't only grow or stay on something that is rusty. the reason a lot of people say that a rusty nail will give you tetanus if you step on it or cut yourself with it is because that is what they have always been told that happens. the tetanus spore live on rust or any object that has oxygen or the lack of so rust is a great example. If you had tetanus from that item you cut yourself on you would have shown signs within 48 to 72 hours so no worries I would say….
