According to measurements at Humpback Creek, 120″ of snow had accumulated at the beginning of 2012, and then came the big snow which became an official disaster on January 6, 2012. The sound of snow plows running all night; clinking of chains, beeping back up and varying pitch of heavy engines lost its aura of annoyance and became the sound of rescue as comforting as the music from a child?s ballerina jewel box.
