Has installing a home water purifier improved your asthma symptoms?

by Symptom Advice on January 26, 2011

I was diagnosed with asthma when i was 4. Incidentally that was the first summer of which i ever came near a swimming pool… I recently read some studies that prove that not only the mixing of liquid chlorine with organic (human tissue) compounds, but also the vaporizing of chlorine has been linked to asthma! so now I am highly suspicious… i am considering installing a water purifier on my shower head, which is the largest risk of chlorine vaporization to see if it helps my symptoms. has this worked for anyone else?

I've lived in a house with filters on all the water sources and it didn't make a difference for me, but if you have the money and means to do it, I don't see why not try, since having cleaner water is a good thing anyways.
