So I heard about a newscast saying that clubs in the San Francisco area have had a connection to some tuberculosis cases. Well I am kind of nervous because I went to a club in San Francisco last Friday and a couple days later I developed a cough that I get every so often and it feels like there is something in the back of my throat (almost like phlegm but it hurts a little bit [maybe not hurt but something like that]) (well my nose is a little stuffed). and then on top of that 2 days after the club I felt fairly tired all day (I figured it was just my body recovering from the club a couple days before). so how fast do signs of tuberculosis show…and does it even sound like that to anyone?
Also has anyone heard of the link of tuberculosis disease and dance clubs in San Francisco? do you think it would be bad for me to still go tomorrow to a dance club?
This is high flu and cold season. If other people are sick in the club and you breathe their spores then you could contract whatever they have, but how your body heals or fights it off depends on who well nourished you are and what defenses your body has that could fight them off. however, in the case of tuberculosis you need to have a chest x-ray for a proper diagnosis. If you're sick why would you go expose others to your illness? It would be a bad idea to go dancing tomorrow. Stay home until you're better.
