I've had other signs of perimenopause, I'm 36, he's 41. It got SOOO painful it hurt him, then me! I need to go to my midwife soon. I've also been experiencing symptoms of pregnancy.
It certainly can be but at 36 I wouldn't think you're premenopausal yet. get your hormone levels checked, I believe it's low estrogen that causes vaginal dryness.
Meanwhile there are lots of lubricants that you can use. KY is everywhere and the Yours/Mine has an interesting effect. I also like the ID glide. Watermelon flavor is my favorite.
honey, the dry thing happens to all women at some point. keep a bottle of lubricant handy for sex. sometimes the symptoms of pregnancy and menopause are confused. see your midwife/physician. they will likely tell you get to some ky or something of that effect, and keep it on hand.
