Is it true that once you experience the symptoms of ovarian cancer, it's already in the advanced stage?

My mom (who has ovarian cancer) has a number of heavy symptoms (including constant bleeding, and pain). They've gotten pretty severe and she's had them for quite some time.

Does this mean the cancer is already in the advanced stages? What are the statistics on this one? What are the odds of her recovering and living for many years more?

I have heard this is true.

Here is a link to clinical trials.
clinicaltrials.gov

Type in the type of cancer in the search engine and then hit the map tab to find local trials.

Also she could look into Cancer Treatment Centers of America who use regular treatments with alternative treatments.

Also you could google search "Dr. Max Gerson" and "Gerson Therapy". it is mostly organic fruit and vegetable juices (vegetarian diet) and coffee enemas (I don't believe in the coffee enemas though). it was written about in the book "Death be

She should also try to join an ovarian cancer support group….and maybe consider going with a family member or friend. Support groups help tremendously.

i doubt your mom will live to see old age. yu know i am not doctor and i am just guessing. but i can't for the life of me figure out why you dont' ask a doctor this stuff they can tell you especially the one that sees her. Once yu have the symptoms i suspect you are done. i mean that it wont' go away unless you can use chemo and then its not probable. you really don't have much of a chance with this you need to have gotten a heard start but generall y ovarian is life threatening.

Don't worry until you go to the Docs and get the results…

From what I've been told, yes.
