The Sexual Transmitted diseases are a group of diseases highly contagious during the sexual activities without the proper protection.

The STDs are caused from viruses, bacterias, fungus and other microscopocal germs.an  infected individual is able to spreasd the infections even without knowing it due the abcense of symptoms signs and the disease can not be noticed.

The Sexual Transmited Diseases can affect any person at any age, any gender, but in recent years the population of adolescents and young adults are the groups with higher risks of get contagied.The most known STD are the followings:

-Trichomoniasis-Chlamydia-Candidiasis or Yeast Infection-Gonorrhoea-Ulcus molle or chancroide-Syphilis-Herpes-Condyloma or genital warts-Viral Hepatitis-HIV/AIDS

If these diseases are not treated on time, the consequences can be traumatic for the person who is hosting the infections causing in short or long term Infetility, cronic diseases and death.

The conditions that facilitate the spread of the diseases are the sexual contact with infected persons and not using a barrer or protection such the condom. When people receved contaminated blood transfusionsThe use of contaminated needles  that have been used by infected people.Through the Placent from the mother to the fetus or newborn.And from the mother to the baby when she is a HIV-positive patient.

The vaginal ot anala penetration is not neccesary the only ways to get infected, some of the times the touch of the genitalia is enough to get infected.

A person can experience two or more infections at the same time.

The righ treatment of the sexual transmitted diseases must be followed by a physician and the treatment must include all the individuals infected and the sexual partner or partners.

The self-medication is not recommended as the infections might be treated wrongly and the consequences can be devastating for the person’s health.

And today remember the use of the Condom is the best allied against being infected with STD.
